Teen Board is a statewide board open to high school students, grades 9-12 in the Fall of 2024. Teen Board offers unique opportunities for students to meet extraordinary Oklahomans while engaging in interview and resume skills, committee leadership, fundraising, financial literacy, and career development. Teen Board meets once a month from August to March. Meetings are on Tuesdays from 6-8 pm at the Oklahoma Hall of Fame. (Zoom options are available), and dinner is provided at every meeting. Participants will stay in either residence halls. All will need their own transportation. The camp is geared to students who want to help their school and family become more prepared for emergency situations. Students will learn about emergency response skills. They will leave with the basic life skills needed to improve the safety and resilience in their homes and schools. All students must have a chaperone that will be attending the camp also. Reminder: We will have a Professional Day on Friday. Students will not be in session.

This is a reminder to all high school parents that we will have Parent/Teacher conferences this Thursday evening from 4-7 pm and again Friday morning from 8-11 am. Class scheduling for next school year began today and will continue tomorrow in all English classes. Students are provided a copy of their transcript and course selection form in these class meetings. Thursday evening from 5:30-6:30 Ms. Baker and Ms. Fleak will be in the student lounge to meet with and answer any questions students or parents may have about class selection for next school year.

Students in grades 9-12 as of December 19, 2024 are invited to apply to an Oklahoma Youth Leadership Forum. Student must reside in Oklahoma, have proper disability documentation (this includes, but not limited to, significant learning disabilities, intellectual disabilities/developmental disabilities, physical disabilities and mental health diagnosis. Students must be interested in working with others who have a disability and or be a sibling if they do not have a disability and demonstrate leadership potential in their school and community. Prague Public Schools has made a change in our calendar. March 1st is now a regular school day and March 29th will be a Professional Day.

Information for tonight's basketball games at McCloud for our patrons who wish to attend. Please note that there is a small clear bag policy and that metal detectors will be in use at the entrance. Tickets may be purchased online to speed up your entrance.

Prague will play in the Bethel Tournament starting December 7-9.

As of 1:00 PM today it is all fixed and you can now log in and see who your student's teacher will be for the 23-24 school year. Don't forget! Meet the teacher and the Community Health Fair tonight!

Josten's will be at the high school on August 24th to meet with Seniors and Sophomores in order to go over Graduate products, Cap and Gown ordering information, and Class Ring ordering information. There will be a follow-up meeting on August 28th for both Seniors and Sophomores to turn in order forms and down payments.

Rachel Rumsey is a graduate of Prague Public Schools and we are excited to have her back, teaching Agricultural Education. Welcome Ms. Rumsey!
